In this guide, we will take UG85 LoRaWAN gateway and AM100 LoRaWAN sensor as examples to show you how to connect end nodes to The Things Network(TTN).
Before reading this guide, you could refer How to Connect UG8x Gateway to TTN to connect your gateway to TTN
- Device EUI
Step 1: Go to “Applications”.
Step 2: Click “Add Application” and follow the steps on the screen.
Step 3: Successfully created.
Manage APP EUI
The Application EUI varies by devices. You can add APP EUI on TTN accordingly.
Step 1: Go to “Applications” >> “Settings” >> “EUIs”.
Step 2: Click “Add EUI” and enter your EUI.
Step 1: Go to “Applications” >> “Devices” >> “Register Device”.
Step 2: Fill out the required information accordingly and click “Register” to complete registration.
Step 3: Successfully connected. The “Status” will appear a green dot and display the last connection time.
Upload Packet & Payload Decoder
Go to "Applications" >> specific application >>"Devices" >> specific device >> “Data” and check packet.
Step 1: Go to “Applications” >> specific application >> “Payload Formats” >> “Decoder”. Edit decoder accordingly.
Step 2: when you finish editing decoder, you can test its accuracy below within this page. And the decoded data for activity, humidity, illumination, infrared, infrared and visible and temperature are displayed accordingly.
Step 3: Go to “Applications” >> specific application >> “Devices” >> specific device >> “Data” and you can see the payload decoding process.
Go to "Applications" >> specific application >>"Devices" >> specific device >> “Data” . Complete field in FPort and Payload and click Send.
